OCZ REVODRIVE PCI-EXPRESS SOLID STATE DRIVES - PRE ORDER NOW

These look seriously tempting for compositing work with HD files. How does the onboard RAID work with trim? Is there a way to keep the performance from degrading?

Wow, these are actually quite cheap...relative to current SSDs. Double performance but not double the price

Wow, really want the money to buy one of these now. Out of interest, how fast would the Windows load time be with one of these? Also is there a point where it would bottleneck or is it literally just loading files drom the disk?

From SSD Technology forum:

Unfortunately, due to usage of RAID mode, the SSD no longer supports Trim function and its intense usage as a primary storage device will inevitably lower its performance rather dramatically over time.

This is consistent with what we know of TRIM and RAID but it would be good to know for certain as this looks like a sweet piece of kit otherwise.

DO WANT!

Although this is from someone who thinks the cheapest of SSDs are a stupidly high price, I doubt I will be getting one any time soon. I hate not having a job -_-
