OCZ REVODRIVE PCI-EXPRESS SOLID STATE DRIVES - PRE ORDER NOW

Bearing in mind the price of a RealSSD or Vertex 2E, these are an absolute bargain considering the speeds involved! :D

Now only if I had a desktop PC...
 
Are these revo drives limited edition SSD's? Will these be mass produced more? I will buy a 240gb one for my games. And add another in the future if they still around. 2 of these will have your games sorted for a few years it would seem.

there is supposed to be some sort of garbage collection on them

i am looking into them more at the moment as i would ideally like trim support.

there is rumour on the OCZ forums that they have a TRIM FW so they can pass Win7 compatibility certificates for the product.

problem is though there doesnt seem to be a great deal of info from reliable sources bar rumour and internet chat :rolleyes:
 
What about OCZ, have they made any contact in to verifying that there is some kind of trim support?

only going off what they have confirmed on their forums at the moment.
there doesnt seem to be a great deal of buzz on their forums, i have scoured Xs too but there isnt much info, just questions

Im very tempted in buying one of these 240 Gb ones. Would be nice to find out if trim is going to work. When is the ETA on these and have you ordered a few?
