Odd one, RAID0 Intel 330 performance same as single disk?

As the title says, I've just rebuilt my laptop with another 330 creating a RAID array, restored from backup and... I'm not impressed, only getting 527.7MB\s on reads where as I was expecting near double that.

The only thing I can think of is I set the stripe size too high at 128K?

Ideas?

Yup, it's a Clevo W350ETQ, all ports are on the Intel controller.. And from what I recall, they are exactly the same speeds as a singular drive.

Here's RST,

(In case anyone thinks anything is funky going on with the restore... It wasn't a restore per sé, I did a USMT & OSD... It's nice having SCCM at home ;))

Not too shabby, the previous results I've seen on these laptops with raid have been with Sammy 830's which got better results, the 330's can go a bit better when done on a desktop board though it would seem.

But, for a £60 upgrade, pretty decent boost, will make the VM's fly a bit faster. :)
