A couple of times over the last few days, my main PC has failed to start up, at least so I think......the system all powers on, fans etc., but no display is output so I am not sure if anything else is going on....
First, I thought perhaps my recently installed 8800GTX OC may be at fault/not installed properly so swapped in a cheapo 6200 PCI-e card.....same issue
In the end, I resolved it by removing CMOS battery (which is in good nick, incidentally) and then the system booted fine first time once put back together.....a week has now passed and the same thing happened again today.....haven't done the battery thing yet, as am out for the day, but trying to decide where the problem may lie......motherboard dying ?
(System as per sig - main PC)
