Last weekend, me and my dad joined up with our usual group of offroaders, we decided to go to Leominster in wales and drive around from then on, driving up anything that looked fun.
During the first day we encountered many n00bs, with range rovers sports and freelanders, unfortunately they decided to get suck on the best route where you go up a what feels like 90 degree bank ^^

All the cars are modified in one way or another but we are all running roadish tyres.

Here are a few shots of what we did, i admit there are not many as i spent most the the time grinning going up near vertical banks.
Again, i would like to tell how fun this is so if you own an offroader you might want to consider doing this, it is immense fun, we even had fun with our old merc brabus 4x4 with offroad tyres fitted.
Unfortunately, there is a law that is trying to close these paths, most of the decent tracks have been closed off, i suppose this is going to become hard to do in the future.

Is that defender basically screwed now it flooded? Or will it just keep going?

Sorry dont know much about it really :)

defenders dont get stuck, nor do they break down, only 'delayed' :D

Nah the 110 was fine, they are very hardy.

Looks a lot like Salisbury plain, been there a few times in various cars inc, an Audi A8, Rover 827's, Renault extra van, Escort van etc, but got stuck big time in my Astra company car in a puddle not much smaller than that...

Had to call the RAC to pull me out :o After a few hours of tryng to get it out with the jack, fence posts and a lot of hope  :p

Missed a stag do because of that...

The bill thats gone through clsing lanes is called NERC, it basicaly made any lane that wasn't classed as a byway undrivable.

Was that a pay and play site or byways?? if it's a byway you may want to take down the ones where people have driven all over the place as thats illegal.

So let me ask, why are people with Range Rovers and Discos in your eyes "noobs"?...

Is this some sort of 4x4 snobbery? If so, no wonder the lanes are getting closed! Im sorry mate, but if you treat people with that sort of contempt less people will take it up and less roads will be accessable.

Least the owners of these Range Rovers and Disco's were actually taking them "off road" and not just using them as Chelsea taxis on the school run.

Yea i wanna know that 2 lol, my parents own a disco dunno wich gen it is off top of my head but for the last 6 years ish weve been to a lot of the shows and off road clubs and had no problems with the disco or being called noobs from defender drivers??

I miss my Land Rover 90 :( Just couldnt wear anything nice in it. I once went thru a chunk of water, only for it to come into the cab and come up over my ankles.. One pressure washer clean later :D All ok :D

Done a little of this myself when i had my Surf... :D
