The PS2 emulator is not a downloadable app whereby you can stick any disc in and play a PS2 game on your PS4. It's integrated with the PS2 game itself so Sony are controlling what games get released and distributed. So PAL are stuck with PAL releases and NTSC with NTSC.

Youve misunderstood - its the same emulator but as UK PAL uses 50Hz while the PS4 is effectively 60Hz the emulator uses a system (frame blending) to attempt to match that otherwise it would be out of sync.

With regards to GTA on the PS4 its PS2 emulated titles, on the PS3 it used to be the same but the GTA:SA you can buy now is the mobile port X360 got last year, the GTA trilogy on PS3 might still offer the old GTA:SA which again was just the PS2 title. The mobile port is meant to be inferior so avoid...

I understand now. Basically what Sony has done it seems is literally distribute mirror images of the actual disks along with the emulator for every game.

Still an easy fix just every PAL release would need to be updated.

I won't be buying any PS2 game for sure, I don't mess about with changing my country to the US etc...

Shoddy.
 
just from my looking, people are probabily aware but incase someone comes in looking for a good deal.

Shopto have the xbox one for £228 with ori and rare replay (believe MS Store is the same also)

Nice one. Pre-ordered Far Cry for £34.65 (with promotion and some points). Pretty happy with that. For some reason Uncharted is showing out of stock and I can't select it. I'll try again tomorrow.
 
I enjoyed TEW more than I thought I would. Quite tense at times with some interesting enemies and puzzle based boss fights. Easily worth a tenner. Story was OK too. Graphically a bit ropey at times. More Resident Evil-y than all the recent ones.
