the UK is usually one of the worst places to buy stuff, it's just that amazon are based on a tax free island just off the coast that makes them so cheap to buy online.

e.g. the nexus 7 v2 is like £70 cheaper in america and canada than it is over here

i try and get family over in canada to buy me stuff and ship it to me or bring it over with them on there holidays.

i got the nexus 7 v2 last month from canada, and in 2 weeks im getting a book which cost's £50 over here for only £20 brought over as well as some floss bands for like £40 which cost like £60 over here.

don't you have any family or friend's in the UK or America or Canada you can ask for favour's?

I just wish I had close family in the state's as it's like 25-35% cheaper over there than it is canada, which is already roughly 25-35% cheaper than over here in the UK.

postage in canada though is expensive and takes an age and import taxes from america destroy a lot of the potential savings, so you need to source internally which can be a problem as the country is so far behind the modern world when it comes to these types of things. like people in canada go to india or america to buy mobiles because their local stores are crap.
 
Just thought that I would share this with you. I went down to Game last night and waited in the freezing cold for GTA 5. I went there and got a 500GB playstation 3, GTA 5, Breaking bad season 1 box set, 30 days free of playstation plus and the amazing game called the last of us. This was only a 199 pound so if you are thinking of getting GTA 5 and don't have a console then I would reccomend this deal. I haven't played GTA 5 yet so I can not say what it is like but I will let you all know once I have played it. I have heard its meant to be amazing. I am very much looking forward to getting home from work and playing it!

When the console ships, you get emailed a code for The Last Of Us which you can then redeem for the game when checking out.
