You should check out EA Access and the the Xbox game pass or at least the trials for each.

vouch for this. EA acccess gives you what 16-20 games for £20 a year if the prices have remained the same.
if you take a sub make sure you play peggle. what a fun game that is for passing the time

They sell the $10 for roughly £5.5x every few weeks, you can only buy one per credit card/phone number/account so I just build up a balance and buy when the US site have their 'flash' sales.

yep, that's it. The only downside is you cannot mix/match the region of DLC.
I've gone for the game pass.
Well you get a 14 day trial - mine lasted more like 21 days, be sure to cancel so it doesn't auto renew and charge you. Its good they add 5 games per month. I'll dip in and out of it I think like ea access.
I'm all signed up for the trial, I might renew as there are a few games that I haven't played.
