Any PS4 Pro deals?

Some people on HotUKDeals talking about £275 being the new PS4 Pro price after E3?

£349 atm still a bit more than I wanted to pay. ~£300 would be OK tho.

Sainsburys had a ps4 pro with Horizon zero dawn and Wipeout for 350 think it's 340 online though.

Multiple retailers have that deal atm - it's part of the Playstation Days of Play promotion.

But like I said, £349 is more than I'm willing to spend :p

Esp if the rumours come true, and the PS4/Pro get a price drop *after* E3. Might depend on how good the Scorchio is.

Wouldn't this defeat then the purpose of the Days of the play sale promotion in which the PS4 Pro is bundled with Horizon zero dawn and Wipeout for £350 ?

Also the promotion lasts till 17 June covering the E3 period so if any announcement were to be made regarding PS4 Pro price cut it would have materialized in this promotion ??

We'll find out after Microsoft's Scorpio release/unveiling, I guess.

But to answer your question, no it wouldn't defeat the purpose of the sale. The purpose of any "sale" is to increase sales; there is no obligation to put prices back up after a "sale" :)

Marketing... it's their job to make you think you're getting a once-in-a-lifetime deal, even if you're not ;)

The problem I find with HUKD and other such sites, people talk about "wanting" rather than basing anything they say on any kind of evidence.
After the C Chassis sale at the end of last year when people were picking up PS4's for £150 - they were convinced this would be the standard price as soon as the sale was over.
Yes, the "days of play sale" are there to make money, but in the same way we are not getting a PS5 so close to the Pro release, we aren't going to get a £75 cut in the Pro price within 2 weeks of a special offer.

I'm sure it will happen, maybe at Scorpio release, but not yet.
As for Scorpio - it's biggest problem is it's a Microsoft product and not Sony and lord only knows what premium they are going to put on it. The "world's most powerful console" is useless without a games library and if MS go the opposite way to Sony and allow Scorpio exclusives....not really sure how that will garner any favours with their player base.

Not entirely as sony could just says it's 275 with no games which then wouldn't ruin promo there doing now

Sweet, all the good deals happening right now. I will for sure get that 12 months PSPlus from ShopTo since my subscription is running out this month. Also, folks need to make sure that auto-renewal is off for their PSPlus. Mine was on, so I had to disable it to make good use of the nice offers. I'd not touch Battlefront, but if it has splitscreen then it might be worth a go.

Any good deals for PSN Top ups though? Even with 2-step verification, I'm not taking any chances linking my card to PSN. The best I've seen is £19 for £20 topup at CDKeys.
