Yeah, I think ahead of Black Friday everyone has gone back to RRP
To be fair, Xbox and Game Pass is a winning combo these days especially if you are new to the platform.
That’s only if you get an X though right?
Also difficult given the PS5 and Scarlett next year...
No, Xbox One S is decent enough. I thought you wanted to get one on Black Friday? If you don't, then yes I'd wait until the new consoles come out next year.
Just out of interest, why have you ruled it out?Now Stadia is off the table

I feel I've been misled on what this actually was. It was never promoted/advertised as a beta which now after last night, it essentially is. I fully expected to have the Controller/Chromecast on the 19th which is what the pre-order specified. I certainly didn't expect to be told that I'll be only be playing on a PC/Mac once I receive a code on the day my order ships, which could be a week after launch. A lack of transparency regarding pricing - how can you a week before launch not tell people what you're going to be charging?
Such a shame as I think it could be awesome, but I'm not down for being a beta tester and Google's awful PR/Marketing team ultimately made my decision.
Xbox One X has got £150 off at Argos - £304. I'm so tempted but I already have my PC and want to get Scarlett...
.
It's a shame theres nothing on the S or digital edition, they're probably better value if you just want to check out game pass cheap for a year until next gen.
Tempted by a PS4 Pro with either Call of Duty or Fifa 20 and 6 Months Free Spotify for £299.

As per my above post, the S can be had for ~£152 delivered, with the new Star Wars game, from Amazon Germany.Saw a deal floating around for £119 for a SAD from Amazon Spain.
