It's an OK deal, but let's be honest, Sony are dropping the ball this Christmas. A deal like that should be about 320.

The Xbox one is going to outsell the ps4 this Christmas mainly because it is a better value proposition when you get the console, 3 top games and an extra controller for 350. When the ps4 was always the cheaper console, Sony should be undercutting that deal.

That's expecting a bit much. Two of those games came out three weeks ago and the total retail value of them is about £120+. They're not about to give these away.

There are some great deals on both consoles at the moment, I don't see how anyone can be accused of dropping the ball.

But two of them are up rezed versions of old games.

The Xbox one was what 500 quid for the console when it came out, it's now 350 with COD, Halo and forza and an extra controller, but the ps4 price hasn't came down much. I'd be surprised if the ps4 outsells the Xbox this Christmas.

Also Sony need to start getting updates out and adding things like game resume that was touted from the start.

Doesn't really matter, they still only came out a few weeks ago and are £40+ in stores and online. The PS4 was £350 on its own a few months ago, now you're getting three games with it worth £100+.

It was £430 and came with Kinect. The PS4 price hasn't needed to come down much, it's been the better-selling of the two quite consistently since the start.

I've no doubt the Xbox will see a nice spike over Christmas as they've put together some solid hard-bundles and are clearly supporting retailers in offering their own bundles, but I personally can't see why anyone would think the PS4 needs an actual price drop. There are some excellent deals out there whichever one you want.

As for updates or whatever, that's not for this thread.
 
well decided to go and treat myself to the £349 argos bundle in white, the 3 games should keep me going for a few weeks. wheres the best/cheapest place to order games from? and any games i should get straight away, i like the look of Shadow of mordor so i might get that first
