*** Offers & Bargains, all Consoles ***

Very tempted by the Argos PS4 deal. I am however still in two minds about whether to go for an XB1 or PS4. I had a 360 before but the PS4 does seem to appeal to me a bit more however the lack of DLNA features is putting me off as these have just been added to the XB1.

What's the general consensus on which is the better console?

Please don't, this question never ends well!

Start a separate thread if you must, that way it can be locked when it inevitably gets out of hand.

Good call. It would also help if you stated "why" a PS4 appeals more as that's an impossible position to interpret otherwise.

Seems a bit of a contradiction to say one thing appeals more and in the same sentence state a feature that it doesn't have that you want.

That's because owning an XBOX One makes you a fool and owning a PS4 a bright spark.

Not trying to start a war. I like the idea of the PS4 more as it is a bit more powerful and has games that won't be available on XB1 such as Last of us and Uncharted, which I never got to play before.

It sounds like you've already made your decision and nothing is going to change it. Check out the £350 bundle that's available on the high street or through the web. I think it's the best deal you're gonna get now.

I said I'm in two minds about it, the Argos deal was the reason for my post.

The Argos deal looks the best bet for a PS4.

Unsure of the logic behind wanting one because you like the fact it's a little faster... I can assure you that you won't notice the difference unless you sit them side by side, so best to make a decision on exclusive games and features, which sounds like you have done.

However, there will be plenty of deals going forward so I wouldn't just jump at an offer for the sake of it, unless you are sure of what you want.

Black Flag digital (X1) is on cd keys for £7.02 (inc 5% discount). Trying to decide between this and Unity for £20.

What's the better bet? I take it £7 for Black Flag is about the cheapest it's been?

Finally took the bait with the Argoose offer.

CEX Far Cry 4 and GTA V for a joint £75 and that leaves me with a PS4 and The Last Of Us for £275. It's the only game I'm screaming to play at the moment, and with PS+ all paid up on the PS3 I don't see a better offer coming post Christmas.
