Anyone know of any VoIP applications for this phone? I've been searching the web for a while, not found any. Would be useful for going to America and using Wi-Fi VoIP to phone home...

Hm, you might be disappointed. This isn't a smart phone and as such just runs Sony Ericssons standard operating system. It will run Java apps, but it's not as fully functional as a Windows Mobile or Symbian device.
I think it supports SIP calls....
Just bought the C905 this saturday!!!

Yeah I know it expensive but I'm not into all this contract stuff so would much rather just get sim free so I can do as I please with it.
Its a lovely phone indeed and I like the menu system (also noticed that its nearly exactly the same menu system on my girlfriends new W595).
Only issue I have had is the Activity Menu Key stopped working - but a power cycle sorted this.

Couple of questions regarding this phone:
1) Is there a quicker way to lock the phone apart from opening and closing the slider?
2) When texting, how do you speed up the cursor when selecting two letters consecutively from the same button? On nokia's I always just pressed down in between, but this only works when there's no text below on the c905, otherwise the cursor actually moves down and things get messy

I'd say thats a pretty good deal!!
I get round about the same, 2 days max with average use.
Hi, I just got this phone today with an upgrade on o2 at the CPW and I am very pleased with it. However I don't seem to be able to get 3G. I have set the phone use either GSM or 3G and I am in area which should have 3G coverage but I don't get it.
Do you need anew sim or anything else for 3G as the sim I have got is the same one since 2003?

Goto the mobile network tab in connectivity under settings. There is a 2g/2g option, should be set to use 3g be default...
Cheers mate. It actually turns my sim doesn't 3G and I need a new one. However CPW tried to charge me £15 for one and then said phone O2 for a free one of course O2 won't since I am with CPW. So spoke their customer services and was told that it should be free, so I will get one tomorrow.
Ok i'm ****** off. Dropped my phone earlier. Now when the slider is shut the left button doesn't work, but it does when the slider is open. Can anyone help?
Also, I bought it off ebay, and the receipt from the orange shop was provided but I guess if I was to go back they wouldn't do anything as its on his contract?

What would they do even if it was your contract?
Sounds like a ribbon connector might be a bit damaged, and it's only active when bent in a certain way. Don't know if you want to open it up and have a look. If you do, post pics!
Just had to take mine down to CPW to get fixed as the screen goes fuzzy and crashes when you open the phone. Anyone else had this problem? My mam knows someone who has had the exact same thing. I'm thinking about changing the phone but can't see Orange switching it to a different phone for me; anyone ever done anything like that?
