Have to say, the game I just played on Versus with OCUK players was utterly lame.
Had the survivors hide under the small walkway on the No Mercy finale, we couldent do a thing to them.

If thats how you are going to play with friends then dont bother please.
Exploiting isnt fun.
 
bah... tank have soo much chances to get us but you lost the game and now blaming us for using save place? thats lame! you should go and complain for valve...

That sounds highly lame. If it were my server I'd definitely spawn 4 tanks on them to show them who's boss.

Lol. With all your comments about Infected having it tough, I'd have thought you'd go a different route with your play style.

How the hell is it an exploit? An exploit is where you use an error in the game to cheat.

Using the space under a ramp is hardly cheating. If there's a place that's easier to defend than elsewhere, who isn't going to take it?

It's like a game of CoD4 I had once where someone was moaning about me killing them with grenades a lot - everyone gets them, so stop complaining! Jeez.

I won't complain if Valve patch it but come on, complain to them, not us.

If you won't complain if Valve patch it up, you can't really think that it's not a bit cheaty/unfair to use the area...

Surely a more fun game for everyone involved is more important than your team winning?

Haha, funny, its part of the level....so hey.

That's like moaning if a smoker catches someone in an inaccessible area and calling it an exploit...when it's part of the map.

Granted, it's not as 'fun' for the infected, but oh well, idea is you stop them going to there before they actually get there....

Or wait till they run out of ammo....happens eventually.
 
oooh controversial, people using blatant exploit are using the "if its in the game why cant i do it" arguement. Heres a hint, exploits dont get fixed instantly as there are usually more important things to fix so soon after its release.

First time I've used that tactic, I blame my teammates :D

Yeah it is unfair, but I didn't see 'em complaining until we'd escaped in the Heli. I don't know why people get so worked up about it, it's just a game :mad:

Now I know how much it hacks people off, I'll be sure not to use it in the future.

It's not an exploit, it's bad map design. I expect it'll be fixed in a jiffy.

it's not an exploit thats the thing... valve fixed bugs with witch, pipe boombs etc...

Yeah, it's fair enough in some ways to have done it once and then not do it again. I really wanted to try out the Tank exploit to jam the alarmed car into the entrance to the safe house on No Mercy/01, but didn't get a chance...If I'd spawned as a Tank on there at any point though, things might have been different :p
