that was a royal spanking biggest points margin ive seen, myself and Opul were in hysterics it was like a pookie appreciation benefit with all the laughter.

Right, I've now modded the servers so you've got:

Vs_TEAM_TALK_ONLY
217.168.150.203:27016

and

Vs_ALL_TALK
217.168.150.203:27017

I'll see what people prefer in terms of what ends up being left running. Though I'll probably always have at least one "alltalk" server running - it's just so much more fun imo :)

People that play without a mic suc which is just as well because whether they sux or not I still abuse them, Having a mic gives you the option of abusing me back which is much more fun when it is 2 sided :D
War talk & Banter make online gaming Special as long as it is light hearted & people don't act like girls & start crying because somebody laughs at them when they get Poonamied :p

& I am going on for a game & will sux badly as I've not played in weeks :D

i would use mic but manny of ocukers in game wont understand me :) because my mic is rly bad quality and my english sounds terrible when im talking :P i can laugh trough the mic if that helps :D

I was told (perhaps in a dream) that one server was running some kind of mod that had team talk, but when someone was being pinned by a hunter or dragged by a smoker, you could then hear that person (maybe talk to them too) that could make things interesting, hearing them scream to their team for help while you drag them off a roof taunting.

Hey, I thought I was quite reserved the other night - apart from when we killed the other team in the sewers and I got a little giggle on :D
 
Playing Death Toll last night with some OcUK'ers and having a great game on one of the co-op servers. Then, just near the end, the server reset and we were all booted without warning. We contacted each other and started again, and again 3/4 of the way through, disconnected once more. I believe the other players were RitchyFingers, Manmungmus or something like it, and another that I can't remember as I don't have my steam list here at work.

Don't get me wrong I'm grateful for the facility, but it would be nice to have a message warning of the disconnect at least.

Great game anyway all and I should be around again tonight if anyone's up for it. Might try a versus this time.
 
I need to test my mic. It hasn't been working recently, but i noticed when i was last in my computer, that I had taken the soundcard out and had forgotten to reattach the mic to the soundcard inside the case (I use the case's built in mic jack). :(

So I'll be testing it when I'm next on :)

That's odd - which campaign were you playing through?

I know for a fact that I didn't boot anyone/restart the servers when people were on there so..hmm. There was a bug similar to this a while back which I thought i'd sorted (and indeed, I've played through several campaigns in co-op on the servers without issue).
 
There is a 'random timeout on map change' bug that effects tf2/l4d. Valve haven't fixed it for about 2 months now. According to the valve mailing list it happens on every type of modded and unmodded server - it's suggested it's to do with the server sending 'end of map' stats to valve, and not getting through.

Indeed - I thought it'd been resolved, or at least reduced. Odd :/
 
I'm quite surprised games like Left 4 Dead and TF2 possibly don't crash more often.....Considering the amount of times (In L4D's case anyway) the servers have to change maps and the like and still keep everything running.

They've done a damn good job to be honest.
 
Anyone had chance to test out my plugin on Aekeron's servers and can provide any comments, suggestions, feedback, etc? :)

seen it yesterday really usefull plugin but can you like put it down? in the left corner or something? cos my res in only 1280x1024 and it's kinda big and annoying :)
