Don't think so. Your team mates might not have been focussing on shooting them, which can happen a fair bit if they are listening out for boss infected.

A few things I have noticed since the new patch:

1) Can't remember I've seen a tank on the first two maps of either campaign. Maybe one or two in countless games. Possibly due to the fact they have VS mode as normal difficulty and normal diffculty campaigns you never see a tank in first two? Some sort of bad cross over maybe?

2) When tanks do spawn in later levels they almost definatley come, instead of being random and maybe/maybe not appearing. I have also had two tanks in the space of about 1/2 minutes on NM3. We took a tank down just before the event with the lift/ladder/rooftop walkway then received one just as we got to the room before the sewer drop down.

I'm an advocate of the tank and would like to see him spawn at least once on every level for both teams.

Yeah teamwork is vital to l4d. Unfortunately I am forced to PuG it 99% of the time where this is non-existant. The hospital level, near the lift, there is a little box room with one empty doorway. You get 4 survivors in there, 2 crouched at the front and 2 standing up at the back, nothing is going to touch you.

and that's lame :) no one does that ohhh.. noobs do that cos it's the easiest way to defend your selfes :P which is boring as hell :) good players can stuck in one place together on the midle of the map and defend them selfes :P

nope ;) do it add me grudas144 ull find most of the regular players from ocuk on my friend list and you can add them 2 :) we play most of the time good.. but sometimes i just like to burn my self with molotov.. :o

Try and use the OCUK servers as much as possible (put "sv_search_key ocuk" into the console when you make a lobby) - lots of lame exploits are blocked :)
 
Am I being silly? The "sv_search_key ocuk" doesnt work for me, just sits there doing nothing

And why is it sometimes I start the game I get a list of OcUK group games and other times I dont :(

Game seems way too much trouble to get an online game going
 
just had the worst game in history :) our team just sucked big time :P no team play... runing randomly looking for hunters to get killed just rubish ech.. :(
 
Where do you get these people, just had some one trying to kill his own team and the other 2 in the server didnt vote to get rid of him :mad:

The only time it should do nothing is when all three Private servers are already populated - and usually there's one free at least.
 
It is my weekend starting Now :D
I shall be Slaughtering Infected until friday evening :cool:
