Log out and restart steam, you should get a pop up box.

It's downloading...but mine is SO slow it's silly...My connection sucks.

I'm talking 60kb/s slow...lol

Also had that prob, close down steam and restart it, you should get the news popups, theres a direct link to the install there

EDIT: doh! beaten too it, need a seconds count on post time
