Couldnt disagree more, lack of decent players on survival mode is becoming more apparant by the week.

Survival mode is boring. Sit in a corner, shoot zombies, run around when the tank appears, return to corner, repeat ad infinitum (or at least until death).

I've played Survival about 6 or 7 times, Co-op about 10 times, VS about 150 times

edit, just checked my stats

it's 267 VS games, and 10 Survival

Death Aboard is a superb co-op map, hard to believe it's a home made and been put together in someone's bedroom Visuals are superb far better than the official 4 campaigns and more variety to roam around, very professional job. It also demonstartes how well the Source game engine scales, despite only being dx9, the grahics and detail cranked up look incredible, 90% rating from me

have just entered the scry world of CUSTOM MAPS
have just played 'Deadcity' but not all the way through, on level one it seemed the end at a wall labeled 'zone portal' and couldn't exit, on level 2 the end door wouldn;t open so dont know whats going on there otherwise it seem like a good map

is there any other maps worth playin???


...so it this the extra content that valve talked about... a sort of 'heres an addon feature but you must supply your own maps'

It's finished now. Just download the latest version and install. It includes a finale, I won't spoil it for you though by telling you what it is.

Death Aboard is a cracking custom campaign, last level is great.

Not sure if vs works on the maps, as i have been on a server which switch teams at the end of the round, could have been a bugged one as only four of us could play and you only got 1 life as infected, need to drop out and reconnect to get back onto the surviers team.

The way i do it, is to join a game running a custom, it will then give you a link for the download. Extract the file and it will put everything in the right place.

Promod I believe. Link has added it to OcUK 3 and made some changes of his own (such as removing that nasty looking wire fencing). Makes the maps better as a whole I think.
