***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

Had my first game in ages around 2am this morning & struggled a bit. I've warmed myself up again though so will be up for some later if anybody fancys some Madness :D

I've now updated to the latest version of Durzel's plugin that allows you to toggle the Infect HUD on and off:

What's your steam name? I can probably try inviting you to the group.

That, or find the group manually while in Steam itself and joib that way matey, try both.

I tried it the instant it was put on, works fine, apart from having that issue of dissapearing once bring up the Admin commands etc, but you fixed that in the latest release didn't you?

As said earlier, would be nice if you could position it where you wanted maybe....Can't remember what command lets you do that, but doesn't net_graph allow you to position it where you want? Can't remember =/

Still good though, especially while tank.

I don't really have a lot of control over placement as it's a bit of a bodge to make it do what it does currently (not that the code is bad but the available options are limited). I'm doing some reading to see if there are other options I can explore.
 
I just abuse non team players via the mic :D
Give them a round or two & if they don't sort it then I move on, Same as BF2 really.

survivor isn't as bad i've found. usually most can hold thier own until the other team atleast catches up. or they atleast stay within protection distance and not rush halfway across the map.

it's just these players that you tell them to wait so everyone can respawn but when everyone has 1/2 seconds left on thier timer the one that's alive attacks and gets his backside handed to him.

But yeah, i blame counter strike.

Don't you lot dare suggest this kind of mentality is only found amongst non-OCUK tagged people! There's a couple folk on here who specialise in rushing, suiciding, soloing and running off on their own - they know who they are!

I've seen smokers attack full groups from the front, hunters leap into a stack of survivors without any backup and boomers spawning behind groups...... and while all of these things are occasionally suitable, depending on circumstances, most of the time it's just daft - and that's from OCUK peeps :D

Meanwhile, I've been perfecting on my multiple wall pounce technique with my hunters ;)

Yeah it happens, but it doesnt happen every spawn/game so it's bearable.
