***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

Yeah tell me about it. Best be soon because even I, the most hardcore of L4D players, am starting to get a little bored of the two VS maps available.

It's still a damn good game and each team you play with can be different but I just want to munch some brains in a new scenario, know what I mean?

Yeah good game last night Seani, the OcUK servers hosted by Aekeron never fail for a decent game :)

I had a custom Vs maps server a while back and it was used by literally three people. Perhaps everyone will be more receptive this time round though - especially if the maps aren't as buggy/dodgy as the other campaigns in Vs mode maps we had running :)
 
We finished Blood Harvest on Expert last night, no restarts, in under an hour (57 minutes) even though we had Robert1986 AND Buckz on the team (Sharpy was the other) - most people will know what that combination means!

Just a little note for people playing Expert - when you reach the safehouse, get inside and then TK anyone on less than 50% health (agree it first, of course, or there could be unhappy people around - and don't kill everyone! :D) - they respawn with 50% health and anything they were carrying at the time will be sitting on the floor including weapons, first aid and grenades. It's slightly underhand, but Expert is tough enough and it doesn't affect other players :D

Dead Air is my Expert Co-op target for today. I know Sharpy is about - anyone else up for a match during the day?
 
Yeah..We do that TK thing too - it's quite funny hearing people who're not used to the idea go on about it. I asked one guy to TK me and when I thanked him he said something like, "I've never been thanked for a TK before...Weird" :p

Haha....I was asked to TK someone the other day....

And my mind just went.."what the hell? you strange man".

So I shot him, he's like "MOAR!!!!"...So I promtly emptied a clip in his head :p hehe
 
Completed blood harvest on expert only for the achievement not to damn well be granted :mad:

Was my 4/4 as well. Not happy :mad:

Why does this game feel like it has more rage quitters than other games? I know the answer is because it's more noticable than other games, but damnit it's annoying.

An entire team quit in anger yesterday after I was accused of wall hacking for shooting a boomer who was well hidden behind a tree :/ Are most players completely deaf? This was on the finale too, so they'd happily played through all the other maps only to decide our team was cheating on the last part. Grrrrrrrrr.

i do rage quit my self when the teams are not balanced lets say in one team there's regular players who played 80+hrs on the other team is one good player and others who played around 20hrs with randoms.. these people dont stuck together... run away for no reason etc it annoyes me a lot so i quit i cant stand it.. :/

The game needs a /callvote shuffleteams command.
