***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

Ive been playing this non stop since i got it yesterday, havent played with anyone from here yet. Games are always full when i try and join.
 
It seems there is only 4 campaigns though :(, I just got blood harvest to do then I've done them all :( (even if it was on easy :p). Is versus good? Don't know why i'm asking really, will soon find out myself lol. I've never really played co-op before and i thinks its pretty good.

Yes. There may only be a small number of maps, but the huge variety makes versus even more fun. Playing as infected is a whole new kettle of fish.

Yep, 4 campaigns, 5 maps in each....

Then two versus campaigns, which are 'tweaked' versions of two of the above campaigns...All good though, hopefully getting the extra two for Vs. soon as well.

I think it's a cracking game, especially for how 'simple' it is, and especially how cheap it is now.
 
Yup been playing this game since beta - got it on PC and Xbox (aren't I sad!!)

But yeah it hasn't really gotten old for me yet. You ought to really do campaign on Advanced the first time round. Then once you're comfotabler wit the game go do some expert :)

We have our own servers with non-dodgy configs and guaranteed decent pings :)

You can also specify the use of our servers when you make a lobby by entering the console command "sv_search_key ocuk" before you start your game.

sorry for being thick but how do i join this group, ive clicked the link on that page to join but its done nothing, can i do it via steam instead?

Now all you have to do is complete them on expert :p (i still havent yet :()
 
we played no mercy on expert earlier there with a new guy from the forums called BigPig, was his very first game and he joined on NM4 lol, it was great playing with someone new as were so used to playin with the same regulars who know the games and campaigns inside out.

You just dont see comments like "the tank hit me with a rock!" from seasoned players as much lol.

Anyway if your readin mate you did well for a first timer considering it was expert and lyon was playin like a doink :D

I think i've played all i can till after dinner lol. Didn't really understand versus mode, it was easy when you were a person, and stupid hard when you where a villain. Do most people play campaign mode?

People play Vs mode most of the time. Once you get a handle on what to do as Infected it's incredible fun.
