And I openly apologise, twas but a slip of the pounce.

Okay, I did it on purpose, can't believe no-one had seen that before.

I now very publicly promise to never do that again, ever.
 
3 of 4 survivors were down on the No Mercy bit just after the lift, and so I legged it into the safe room. MeddlE managed to leap through the safe room door and incap me. :(

EDIT: The safe room door was actually closed at the time, and had been for about 5 minutes.

started to play Vs and enjoy it a bit more

I need tips on how to play as the infected, I know who does what, and how etc

But any team that stays together as a 4 , as soon as you snare them/pounce them etc the other's shoot you

Help :)

That's qutie a large portion of level to attempt to solo. I guess if there was no chance of you getting people up, then each tiny foot further is an extra point for your team...

Rage quitting after that sounds a bit meh though.

The key is to all attack at once. And make sure the boomer is close enough to get a vomit off. If a boomer rushes in before you, that's also a good time to pounce - try to get the green outlined survivors first however.

There's literally no point attacking the entire group when you're a lone hunter/smoker/etc.

That's basically it. There are lots of other little tactics/tricks/etc you can do but when you first start just try to remember to stick together as much as you can as Infected.
 
I've been playing with some of you the past couple of nights now and I'm really enjoying versus mode, I'm starting to get the hang of it. My in game name is Steve! by the way.

Post in the actual thread please :) It's a huge amount of work as it is and keeping track of who I've added/etc would get even more annoying to do if I start picking up names from elsewhere too.

Meddle, I wouldn't worry as we were getting our arses kicked anyway. I personally thought it was quite amusing but can understand noodle getting a rage on after doing superbly getting all the way to the safe room on his own :D.

I had no idea it was possible, never seen it before.

I didn't ragequit, but I was rather annoyed. I think somebody else did though.
