***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

really frustrating just spent over 2 hours completing blood harvest on expert (AI decided to rape us constantly) and didnt get the achievment for it :(
 
For those just in that last No Mercy game - one thing to say.

lol yeah... AI was very annoying... :/ never seen it like that x] some secret update or something xD

The AI can be a nightmare.... I've been on expert before where it's been horde + specials on a constant loop, plus a couple of witches and a couple of tanks..... in the same level and that's not even the final.... Not the mention that health seems to have become scarce these days

Just had an awesome game with Sharpy and in the end Lyon (and sharpy's mate).

It was awesome crack which ended with Lyon and I finally getting onboard the plane.

Drunken Dead Air on Expert mode with a noob player is such a good laugh. :D Though before Lyon we had two noob players...didn't go too well ;)

Also, had to post this sometime, wicked parody :)

Was good. By far the best moment was when the tank came along, whacked a ruddy great big trolly thing at sharpy and completely missed. It landed on the wing of the plane, slipped off just in time for sharpy to unknowingly wander right under it.

Not having a go at you bud but WTF is it with this achievement stuff?? People playing the game on easy JUST to get the damn achievements. So so sad:rolleyes: A mate of mine invited me to play 4 player co op on NM easy to get ze achievment. I ripped the **** outta him:D:D:D

Meh, it's something to do I guess.

However, getting the expert achievements is something worthwhile - actually have respect for people with all of them :)

Yep, i remember when it was me and you on that 1 Death Toll level with 2 others who i cant think of right now. We would have a horde, walk a couple of feet and have another and another. Not to mention the specials that attacked all at the same time with the horde.

We managed it in the end though!

I swear expert bugs sometimes and gives you a hidden extra extra hard difficulty.

dont expect there will be too many closets in survivor maps or it would kinda defy the point.

Also as the scores are gonna be viewable to all in leaderboards it will be full of people trying to find every exploit in each map to be able to defend in a glitch etc

Its just a nice bonus, i play because i enjoy it

That's why we have so many admins for the ocuk servers ;)
 
Mental versus game. Completed the entire bh campaign. I'm physically tired now lol. I managed to die in the last scene before the tanks even came (:( i fail) and then it all kind of went to pot and my team lost even though we were winning all the way through. Got a couple of acheivements too. Thanks to the other 7 whoever you where, already forgoten mostly lol. defrag and iceyhak i remeber.
 
Could someone take a look at OcUK - Private 5 server.

The load times between levels are very long with patches of lag.

Possibly related/unrelated this server has seen an early chopper (came before 2nd tank was dead) and a very late chopper on no mercy finale. (came ages after 2nd tank died) on versus. Both today.

It's definitely 5 and not 6? Flibble reported to me that it was 6 (which is decto's server. 5 is Seaniboy's).
