I'm sure a load of randoms joined the first game aswell. Didn't recognise a lot of them and there were a few amercian accents...

That vid is funny as hell, i remember every second of it. Lol at Buckz at the end just making a bee-line for the safe room and the lift is hillarious - 5 people stood in the lift and link getting raped. One person at a time comes out to help and gets owned.

Can't send invites from the game as it doesn't use the lobby. However I will let you know through steam chat when I'm on (any time from 6 onwards really, most likely 8:30ish). To join you need to directly connect to ocuk4...

Just finished a great game, apart from the couple of rage quits at the end and the fact that scooobz team got 13 med packs in 1 round then when it was our turn we gotthe original 4 and then 2 later on
Yea that was an awesome game - will have to do that again sometime - although maybe not so lateI've been up nigh on 24 hours now !
Agreed, definitely a good game. Shame about the rage quit and Marcopolo's connection though. The alltalk was quite funny, I forgot every now and again that scoobz ad become a traitor.

I played NM, don't know if was the first or second game. I assume the first.
The server wasn't lagging half as bad when there were 2*the number of zombies. Any more and it went a bit mad!
Good lolz all round though. I agree with Eulogy(Hippos) post about limiting tanks hp to 1.5 normal and changing the HP bonus when you are picked up. (Lack of medpacks at start, etc, etc).
In general this game mode is only for "the lulz" imo. I still prefer a decent cevo config game with 8 players total, but it was fun times last night! Even with gord and his 1k Adobe ping!

Tank health is very difficut to get right, but I can bring back extra med packs from safe room if that helps. As far as pickup health is concerned I don't know whether I can change that, but I'll look.
4vs 4 is still better IMO, but this is good for the lols.

To be fair, the way i saw it was a test just to see how it plays out. Not uber competitive "do this, go there lima alpha golf. It's supposed to be a laugh. Chill man
That cappucino guy was the one that ran for the lift and got owned. And he was the one saying "push the button, push the button." Don't let him in again ffs

In Death Aboard you start out in a prison and work your way out to the nearest docks area. From here, you board a stranded ship and finally to a peninsula or island where there will be a lighthouse as a finale.

Only downside is you need to host locally unless someone can put it on their server, but it is Beta and only 4 / 5 maps completed, but Kearney, Toxic and I have just done an advanced campaign and there are some great maps there. VS should be awesome.

INSTALLATION
Extract the files into your Left 4 Dead folder.
C:\\\\\\\\Program Files\\\\\\\\Steam\\\\\\\\steamapps\\\\\\\\common\\\\\\\\left 4 dead\\\\\\\\
HOW TO PLAY
Open Left 4 Dead and in the ~console type "map l4d_deathaboard01_prison".
Console is your ~ key. (Enable in game settings if disabled)
HOW TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER
Open Left 4 Dead, start a game on a local server and in the ~console either type
"changelevel l4d_vs_deathaboard01_prison" for versus or
"changelevel l4d_deathaboard01_prison" for campaign
To enable versus type "mp_gamemode versus" in the ~consoleOnly downside is you need to host locally unless someone can put it on their server, but it is Beta and only 4 / 5 maps completed, but Kearney, Toxic and I have just done an advanced campaign and there are some great maps there.
