***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

played that map in vs tonight^^ it's well polished, the last section doesn't seem quite right, but it was great fun :)

Extract the files into your Left 4 Dead folder.

 HOW TO PLAY
Open Left 4 Dead and in the ~console type "map l4d_deathaboard01_prison". 
Console is your ~ key. (Enable in game settings if disabled)

HOW TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER
Open Left 4 Dead, start a game on a local server and in the ~console either type 
"changelevel l4d_vs_deathaboard01_prison" for versus or 
"changelevel l4d_deathaboard01_prison" for campaign
To enable versus type "mp_gamemode versus" in the ~console

Only downside is you need to host locally unless someone can put it on their server, but it is Beta and only 4 / 5 maps completed, but Kearney, Toxic and I have just done an advanced campaign and there are some great maps there. VS should be awesome.

yes, yes, YES!
 
it was pretty well made and a lot more open than the offical maps. There seemed more different routes to take, especially on the first level. shame there wasnt a finale really, but all of the levels seems pretty good with panic events and such.
 
There is mention of a finale involving a lighthouse on the website but we never got that far as everything went all buggy.

Perhaps as a direct result of the four tanks.

Overall though it was quite a good map.
 
Okay going to start an 8v8 tonight.

If we can aim to get it started around 7ish then we can squeeze a couple of games in
 
I'll be looking for 8v8 tonight too!

If someone could inv when it kicks off that would be grand !
 
Don't think I'll be able to play but if you need someone to run the script to eanble 8 survivors then give me a shout over steam.

I may be able to play a 4v4 later this evening, if so I'll send out some invites. :)
 
Yeah good games and lots of fun with the campaign maps being on at the start, sorry I had to leave, but GF was on the phone and there were more than enough people waiting to get in.

I will try to make sure it is all working correctly before we start next time.

No worries, not sure where it went wrong for us, we were winning and then all of a sudden the horde started failing when we had good boomers, the enemy just wouldnt die and then someone DC'd on NM finale and we got propper butt raped

Anyway, gg's as usual
