Exactly the point. Played a great game with Antar , Dingleberry and Forgetful fish last night against a pre-made team.

We won fairly comfortably in the end but the teamwork we had and the way the guys played made it a superb game to play in. So much more fun than playing with randoms.

100% agree with this too.
Without Links drunken rampages, Defrags 1337 skills and the legend that is kearney and his hunting rifle. This game wouldn't be half as fun. This game has combined two great communities in my life.

and get this, it is one of the only games that I know of that has an ever increasing number of females playing it too and I'm not talking single player sims, this is an FPS game. So it definitely appeals to a wider range of people than most games.

L4D is both exciting, fun, tactical and offers a variety of types of play and its one of the rare games where beer makes your skills stronger!

I'm Wilks77 btw on l4d, I would not say I'm expert but I'm pretty good and never leave others behind ;).

Ive been playing it for 6 months now. I gave up getting all gold on Survival mode because all the vets started the disapear. Atleast you get some satisfaction in getting through cap'n mode with newbs but in survival mode its just futile.

Played vs mode about 3 times untill a week ago.

Had a fun game last night, sorry about the drunk Tank fall :o

Also, I'd been using the mic the whole game, then a tank incapped me, Tefal came to help, and instead of shouting "look out, TANKK!", i typed "tank behind you tefal"

then he was donk'd, sorry mate :p
 
Had good fun last night guys. Annoyed I had to shoot off, with bed and all that sleep rubbish.

WIll be around for more L4D, have been whoring up TF2 troo much lately.
 
L4D vs online (the only way you should play it)

4 humans as survivors vs zombies, and 'special infected (4 humans)'

the special infected are easily killed and respawn after a set amount of time, they have their own abilities and if they all work together, they can rip apart the survivors

you take it in turns to do a survivor run, then infected run

heavily relies on teamwork, but that makes it more enjoyable :)

just buy it

Sorry guys but 264 pages is a lot of pages to go through...

So basically each server has a max of 8 players? How many OcUK servers are there? Or do you just meet on steam and jump in a random game?

8 max normally yeah, though OcUK 4 is modified to allow 8v8 for 16 players total. Utter mayhem :)
