***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

I'm back from my holiday and a new version of promod has been released in my absense, so in the process of updating ocuk3 and 5 atm. Also noted the links for custom campaigns, ocuk5 has some already, but I'll look into adding those specific ones to both 3 and 5. Am out this evening but should be back by 9. Will probably be up for some gamage then, however I'e been up since 5 this morning and haven't played for a week, so don't expect me to be any good... :)

EDIT: Version 1.55 of promod (edited for ocuk slightly) is now on ocuk3 and 5, updated from V1.4. Uploading the new deathaboard as we speak to ocuk3. It's gonna take it's sweet time from my home connection however, so I'll get it on both servers by the end of the weekend but you may have to wait :(

I have a vpk version of damit on ocuk5 already so if you can find it i'll get that onto ocuk3 as well (can't find the link, so some homework for you guys ;)).

Also, vpk files only please for the ocuk servers at the moment. Dead City looks like a decent map, but it (and the linked to Damit) is only bsp files which are messier for installing/uninstalling from the server so I prefer valve's newer single file aproach, so long as it can be tested working, if not then custom campaigns have to be completed before they get on my servers.

have not played l4d for ages.. invite if you got a game going on.. :] and what's the deal with the new maps? do i have to download them manualy or l4d does it? x] spam invites to BUCKZ! :P
 
Right, Ocuk3 is now loaded with two campaigns (Da It is a single map campaign with a finale, whilst death abroad is a full campaign) and ocuk5 will be loaded with them shortly. You will need to download and install these if you want to play the custom maps. I will also upload a custom survival map onto both servers later this eveining.

Any chance you can remove the AI controlled infected , in theory it seems a good idea but it actually weakens teams with AI taking control of boomers .

You can be far more efffective with a 3 man infected team without stupid bots to be honest :)

Only death abroad tested working so far. Dam It seems to fail, but will see what happens there. If you downloaded it before today I suggest redownloading it, as the version number has changed, despite no web page updates.

That game on Death Aboard was awesome btw. Those that don't have it are missing out ;)

Installing on ocuk5 tonight...

WTF? No wonder there are people with really good times. Kinda takes away the satisfaction of earning a good time when there are people using cheats like these.

not a cheat a server mod, i found this out on a campaign yesturday, the longer you play the more points you get and this gives you these 'special abilitys' like laser sites, higher clip size, weapon damage, boomer goggles (see through vomit)... and many more :)
