You can't be banned by anyone except a root admin (Aekeron/Frenchtart, Link to Insanity (yeh, me), Defrag and Ruddles). However if you were voted off there is a ban built into the game that lasts for 10 mins or so.

Tell me which clan and what happened and if I see them on again I may just get myself some admin fun on them...

In regards to the 8v8 Tefal, the server should be on automatic, or you can try voting for a different campaign and then it'll change and refresh/autoload the config. Make sure you are on ocuk 6 (FragLink) of course...

Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I've had visitors, been busy and whatnot.

I was there last night, and although i did think it was running on auto, i loaded it again to please the masses, then they were happy again! :)

A group of us tested the smoker, snare speak and infected ghost plug-ins on Ocuk7 last night. I must say it is hilarous to be able to taunt the person you have pounced, boomered or caught in your smoker tongue. Cries of "You *******" eminated from my lips a number of times when bledd jumped me with a resulting witty retort from him and to be able to talk to the entire opposing team at the end of each round makes for some interesting comments as well! :D

I must apologise for my use of the molotov on DA4 last night - I really just wanted to try out a technique demonstrated by Sh4rk (monkey see, monkey do!) and see if I could do it, honest! (it didn't affect the scores that much though tbh ;))

Also watching ppl panic after killing the smoker in a small room is by far the funniest thing i've seen in a while and makes the smoker cloud a real danger now with 2hp per second damage taken while inhaling the toxic gas. Kudos+1 to the developer of this one.

The smoker plugin is now installed on ocuk 6 btw, hopefully I've managed to get it working this time!

In other server news, OcUK 4 is back up and running again, still public atm.

OcUK 1,2 and 6 have been switched over to new seperate server installs and 1+2 are both locked to coop/survival only for now, to try and lower the stress to the physical server with the 16 man OcUK 6 versus.

OcUK 8 will be locked to versus at some point. However I strongly recommend using the ocuklink search key for Versus as the server runs the cevolink config, making it a much better game.
 
the smoker plugin is really cool

it's pretty brutal at times though, I went from 100 to 82 because we were stuck on the train (no zombie damage)

Very nice addition, should be in the real game. It adds a whole new set of tactics for smoker, like spawning ahead of the pack to create a smoke screen :)

I may well have to take a look at sticking it on 3-5 then. I'll see what I think next time I see it working. (Probably the next 8v8 I'm in, provided it has installed on ocuk6 ok.)

It has and is working on Ocuk6 we saw it last night. It's also working on Ocuk7 if you want to try it out sometime.
 
As long as I wasn't pernamently banned it's not too bad :p
I think I was booted because I got trapped at the bottom of the elevator shaft on No Mercy part 4, or like said, they wanted a clan mate to join.
Can't remember the clan tag for the life of me though :)
 
We were playing on Death Aboard the other night and everytime we made it to a saferoom, when the game carried on all the human players were infected and the bots were the players and wouldn't leave the safe room.

WTF?! loool!

The jointeam command didn't work the last time this happened to me.
Get someone to leave the game and then rejoin, they should popup on the human team. Now everyone else can exit and rejoin.
If you all go at once I think the server will stop the current game and go back to a lobby.

Yeh, known fault due to a plugin on the servers. Should be ok on ocuk1-6 now. Ocuk7 & 8 still need this fixed as far as I know. (OcUK 8 should be versus only soon, which means this won't matter, as it only affects survival and coop).

The command to fix this though is "jointeam 2" in console.
 
has there been some sort of graphics update for l4d? I was on a constant 1 fps last night when i tryed to play, was getting 15-20fps 3 months ago :/. Cant get a new graphics card till my student loan comes through which will be a while :(

Funny I had a game 1-2 days ago and since then I have notice fps drop to 30fps sometimes, when fire and zombies are around together. Normally I get 60fps solid, only dropping a few fps not 30fps.
