***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

The Insanity Versus Server has been updated.
Unfortunately some of the changes made to the old 8v8 caused problems, including having 9 per side. I have spent the evening testing it out and ironing out some of the bugs.

Fixes
-Now an 8v8 server, not a 9v9.
-Crash Course now appears to work
-Infected Numbers are the same as old 8v8, but their health is now higher.
-2 tanks spawn at finale both times (in testing only 1 on CC, but there were only 2 of us testing so in a full server we may see it working properly)
-No/long delayed tank spawns on finales should now be fixed.

I will set up another test game at some point this week. Most likely on Wednesday, bearing in mind I'm not around this weekend...

Well it was fun last night ... the impossible finale on no mercy to the tune of lots of people going

"wheres the tank"
"why no hordes"
".... omg no ones started the radio"

The mass tank car + bin battle, with lots of fire, witches boomers and whatever else on CC.

Back to no mercy the boomer suicide towards the end :D:D and whoever it was screaming at the 2 tanks on no mercy as well... pure comedy.
 
Hey Link, sorry for not being able to help test last night - I felt pretty bad, considering you helped me test my map, but things were a little tense on the home front - and she recognises L4D for what it is - a carry-on with my online mates - and that would have made things worse!

Seems to have lost interest though, not sure I can be bothered to run/tweak it anymore...

Shame, makes me die inside. :(
 
Will hopefully be about tonight so gimme a shout if there are any games going. I'll prob be playing TF2 to pass the time but please invite anyway as I'll be happy to leave TF2 for a decent L4D game :)
