*** Offical Monopoly City Streets Thread ***

So whats the plan when the games back up? Are we going for Nassau or some place lonely OCUK town by ourselves?

Either way I'll probably be buying a two road town I found in the middle of nowhere to get the money secure and rolling in and then either buying a few small roads in OCUKland or waiting till the next day to get some bigger ones. I'd prefer we go for a decently popular place after initial purchases, so firstly you dont get attacked purely for being top of the local board and then there will still be some competition to attack after a while.

Oh and for re-registering I'm all for OCUK tagged names. Ill prob be OCUK|Mahn :)

I'll be going for a random street in the sticks for my first purchase and then next two $1mil'ers on Nassau.

Regarding the multiple accounts, I doubt anything will be done. How can it? It's no different to your mate playing then giving up after a week and saying "hey do you want my streets?". They've already fixed the selling back and forth issue and really that's all they can do.

Oh and yeah, I'll be using an OCUK| prefix :).

Have they? I bought streets of myself today and it only registered the minimum price for the first road. So got $30million worth of streets for 1million.

Will be using OcUk prefix, As for where I'm starting got 6 possible locations + OcUK island but depends on multi account and the new rules.

Notice how it says 12-24hours. Probably to help save the servers from the mad rush.

Also sounds like a lot of tweaks had not been added, so they will want to test them out.

Same here. I might have a 2nd account but they will be completely independent.

I'll be re-registering as OcUKEgon and probably buying 1 road in the sticks. Maybe next to Skip. Then hopefully on day 2 roads in Nassau.

Better now after just 1 week than even further down the line.

I like the reset, I started late so I was already behind and its also given me a chance to work out some tactics. :)

Yeah sorry, I meant they've added a transfer limit. If a road changes hands a couple of times you get a "This road has changed owner too many times. Please wait 24h and try again" error.
 
Hmmm really getting tempted to make a 2nd account for Nassau, but in my mind its not really fair, maybe I'll create an OCUK|Kat for my gf.....
 
It is going to come back on before they advertise the rule changes isn't it?

As soon as it is back on I will be registering and buying streets (I mean as soon as I notice it is back on). Only after purchasing will I look for any revised rules, I am wondering if this is backward and there could be rule changes which affect starting strategy. :confused:
