*** Offical Monopoly City Streets Thread ***

I found a spot out in the sticks this morning. Registered fine at about 8am. Was hard to find a 1mil street though. It's in the US near where Skip found.
 
I too found a good road. Cost me just over 1 million and I now have 1.18 million rent on it and I have had two chance cards both with "I have being awarded 500k for being awsome" or something like that..
 
Been out at a meeting but now registered with two accounts.

The road I had earmarked is for sale at M3,038,000 - what a ****er!

Never mind bought two adjacent roads (each with the same name) for a total of M2.5m and plopped down a grid to earn M787K rent.

My other account has one M2m road, will house it later.

Got to say that the username rules are a bit wierd, every combo I threw into it was knocked back, got some stupid usernames now in desperation to get something to stick!

Imagine having s M38m road sabbotaged!

Maybe the tax thing isn't too bad if some roads are worth that. Still you need to diversify.
 
The tax makes sense, but it's now impossible to control an area or have a monopoly - something I think they overlooked, as for me that was my aim (I'll never be the "winner" in terms of value, but controlling an area is a realistic goal).
 
I accidently bought a property at the beggining and sold it right away ... The two 1 million streets I have dont show up on my property list, only the one I sold.. The only way I can see my 'proper' streets is to go into the leader boards.. How come? Bug maybe..

I will have 2.4 million rent coming to me tomorrow..
