Merc will quit F1 before they win another WDC or WCC imo
You're kidding right? Maybe Toto might be considering his position, doubtful, but I can't see Mercedes quitting at all. Every team will have peaks and troughs and I'm sure, given the engineers and support they have, Mercs will be a force to content with next year. Sometimes the bad days can just make you stronger as a team.

Dire by alpine. Poor all weekend. Especially with norris and possibly the new car performing. Gasley consistently being poor. Was always disappointed with that signing.

Great by hulkenburg.

Poor by merc. Shame sainz didn't do better.

It occurs to me that Max has said he won't go on forever winning championships because he said he'll get bored - so if that's his mindset, I wonder if he's pushing to put Hamilton in the other Red Bull ?

That would be amazing - lad wants a challenge, they should give him one! lol

With the way he’s been groomed by his Dad, Marko and Horner I honestly don’t think he believes anyone is his equal or even a worthy challenger. You could see that by the way he raced Hamilton in 2021.

Then maybe his ego should be tested, and let Hamilton, Alonso, or even Norris in the other car, see what they do - but then saying that, it's brand new to them, so they probably still wouldn't be so tuned to it.

Lol overreaction much?

Bit of a bold prediction I know but think it’s a possibility. There have been rumours since 2020 that Merc were considering their long term position in F1.

They aced the last regs thanks to having a head start on the engine technology relative to everyone else, they didn’t have a similar luxury for the 2022 regs and won’t have it for 2026 regs either.
