If you listened in on most sportsmen, like you can f1 drivers, I’m sure you’d get reactions like that in the heat of the moment. Everyone loves to hate max though(myself included)

I’m usually pretty unbothered by radio rants but the fact that he’s cruising to the championship, had a grid penalty anyway, and was through to Q3 anyway, made it seem like quite an over the top reaction. I’m pretty sure his engineer agreed, given his response. And yes I’m sure they have banter etc and alls good between them, but I don’t imagine the team as a whole would be pleased to see them having a barney in the radio like that for everyone to hear. Especially at such an inconsequential moment.

As for hating Max, well of course people have an agenda. But it’s not like he’s a ray of positivity in F1, his reputation is well deserved.

Support races don't get taken into account. If F1 needs to cancel them, it can.

If they're that worried about reducing the number of tyres they're carting around the world, they'd be just as well to get rid of wet tyres and officially only bother racing when it's inters condition.
