Hamilton radio - 2 tenths off?

Pit - It's point 28 to Leclerc, P1

Hamilton - Damn, how much did I lose in 4, 5?

Pit - Just keep on that delta. And to Charles, across the 4, 5 6 it's pretty neutral

Soooo, currently under investigation we have...

Alonso, Russell, Verstappen - Impeding

Russell, Norris, Zhou - Maximum delta time

Hamilton, Sargeant - Failing to slow under yellow flags

Sargeant, Tsunoda - Overtaking under yellow flags

Aaaand finally, Williams equipment under investigation too.

Williams fines €20k with €10k suspended for 12 months.

Verstappen impeding - No further action
Russell impeding - No further action
Alonso impeding - No further action

Hamilton failing to slow - No further action

Zhou was caught speeding in the pit lane - 84.1km/h - €500 fine

Surprised no penalties on the impeding.
Would have been great to see MV get a penalty to spice it up.

Predict MV ahead at end of lap 1. Ferrari look to be going backwards

Interesting quali that. Most of the driver's seemed to struggle with any sort of consistency.

Don't know where the Ferraris suddenly found half a second for that one lap. Do they have some super spicy engine mode that can just about do one lap in q3?

Amazing from Ric. Possibly one of the worst things to happen for Perez!

I fully expect the Stewards have or will make it very clear that sitting at the pit exit with a green light is going to be an instant penalty going forward.

Should be an interesting race. I mean Max will almost certainly win (unless there are accidents/technical problems), but the rest of the podium is anyone's guess. Ferraris race pace often ends up worse than Mercs and McLaren and with the strongest McLaren driver in last place, Merc have a good shot at the podium here still I think.

I think unfortunately Ric will go backwards, but hopefully can still finish in the points.

Who knows where Perez will end up. You'd expect on the podium but I won't hold my breath. He's got a lot of better driving talent around him.

Yeah, they really need to look at this going forward, probably not worth for this season but clearer guidance should be given for next season.

Or just make it so that only a single car can leave pits every 20-30 seconds during qualifying.
