Yeah at least Rosberg and Bottas kept Hamilton relatively honest through those periods. If he slipped up they would be there to take it off of him. Right now Perez is not doing that. People forget Hamilton’s consistency to take 7/8 world titles.

I’d imagine that most people have switched off due to Max, Horner, Helmut and co being thoroughly unlikeable. I mean, for what is essentially a British team I don’t know anyone that can stand them. I can’t imagine anyone other than the Dutch enjoy seeing Max on the podium week after week.

Personally I've zero issue with the Red Bull Team, but then I watch motorsport for the cars and the racing and not the dramatized Wrestling Style Netflix pish

Spain has a habit of undoing dominant streak:

Schumacher in ‘94 when he was stuck in 5th
Hill in ‘96 when he needed a boat
2010 (or 12) Maldonado won his sole race
2016 when the two Mercedes collided

Lando first GP win?

Highly unlikely unless there are issues with other cars. Realistically they might even struggle to even finish in a points position if it's a dry race. But who knows as the conditions and tyre wear may well be unpredictable..

Wasn’t a contest between Bottas and Hamilton either.

Im sure Crofty was up all night thinking of ways to shoe-horn the prospect of rain into the commentary.

At least Bottas often gave Lewis a run for his money in qualifying. Lewis always seemed much faster and more consistent in the actual race though.

Will Buxton is trying his best already, talking about rain and a rarely unheard of 3 stop race.

Yeah saw something similar on another channel. There is no way the teams will favour a 3 stop though even if it is a second or two faster on paper. They are far too conservative. Instead they will try to creep around and save tyres.

Track looks dry, with maybe a few small damp spots. Sky looks threatening, radar says rain in the area but not hitting the track.
Someone linked to this website in the Monaco thread and it was spot on with its forecast and timing.
