That was an MGU-K failure, Hamilton in 2019 did it on utterly shagged tyres

He kept 2nd place behind while 160hp down… Which is why they are all driving like granny’s. Because they can and they know it’s impossible to overtake/track position is king.

Pit - We are preventing McLaren to have a pitstop window. Because we have no rush in this happening.

Leclerc - I didn't get it, but that makes the push into slow speed which I don't like.



Piastri pit radio - Leclerc has been told to slow down again. Russell has dropped behind your pit window.

Piastri - It doesn't really seem to be slowing down. They must be worried about something. Otherwise I feel like it would just be slowing down.

If I was Hamilton I’d roll the dice and pit for some fresh tyres. Another vsc/sc isn’t out of the realms of possibility and he won’t have to put again. Plus he doesn’t lose anything position wise anyway. Plus I’m falling asleep.
