Nah. I got the MSI board but put my Xeon in :D

In gaming it fares far better than in benchmarks. Especially in Sleeping Dogs and Hitman Absolution. My min FPS are up by about 20.

I seem to remember doing a VS with my I7 950 and whilst the 950 @ 3.8ghz benched far better than the Xeon the Xeon kicked its proverbial when ran in gaming. the Xeon runs at 3.4ghz but the Sandy technology is miles ahead with gaming over the I7.

Mafia II was the biggest surprise. I got 12 FPS min more than running the same GTX 480 on the Xeon over the I7.

+1 it was your stardock!!:p,disabled transparency and bingo 3dmark worked,i blame you though;)

I blame AMD drivers :p It would never of happened if you had an Nvidia card in your machine because you wouldn't even be able to get Windows 8 to run with an Nvidia card in your machine :p

See, I do have a sense of humour :D

I was asked to purchase a laptop for my Wifes friend at work and I got a cheap one with Windows 8 on it.

I hated it and also put a Windows 7 start proggy on. I can see why it is liked but it isn't my cuppa.

A few having driver issues with Windows 8 and Nvidia but nothing much to worry about.

I use AMD and nvidia, does the above mean I should avoid Win8 and just wait until at least service pack 3.:eek:
 
I think most of the problems encountered on both cards can easily be sorted.

Most errors I see reported are ID-10t errors.
