Superb cheers Neil. I can't do hangovers anymore I have now realised :( Drinking from 9am till 2am is not good at my age... It was great fun though and I am lucky in the fact of getting free trips from Stena Line because of my job :D

I think you should add though mate, it's only fair and it's not like you created the thread in knowing you'd get an excellent clocker and be top. It could have been anyone and does not matter at all :). When I add more than the 1.25v on the stock (new BIOS) BIOS I'll be pushing up my clocks and trying to beat that score and that's the whole point of these threads. Now, if you were an MSI employee then yes, I'd see your point but as you're not then you need to get the score in there with us. It's only fair to the thread you've created and I'll never accept first on the GFX score until I actually achieve it so please, add yours in too as I've pointed out that I'm not first and it really seems a bit silly the top score is submitted yet not entered. It gives me and others a level to want to progress towards mate so please, for the integrity of it all, get your score in there.

A few more things though!!!!!. What bloody clocks was that run at?. :D 12691 is a great score. Was it on a flashed BIOS?. What voltages was it ran at?. I've not flashed any BIOS and only added .93v in Afterburner on the LN2 BIOS so I've still got hope in moving the clocks up from the 1359Mhz I manage in 3D Mark. Run about 1333Mhz in games (tested so far BF3 MP only). Any information would be appreciated and sorry for forcing the issue. I just want a true representation of the cards presented and as we all know and understand the overclocking lottery it is when buying a GPU then anyone thinking you are showing off, is an idiot.

Fair point and I will put it back. I kind of felt like I was showing off and I didn't start this thread to do that and I wasn't expecting the top score.

I was on the LN2 BIOS and using the F8 BIOS. I have got one of my cards flashed to the 80.04.28.00.3A as the F8 BIOS wouldn't work on my newer Lightning :confused: I have seen others report the same but I have not noticed any difference between the 2, so all cool :)

I am pretty sure I was over +170 and +620 on the single run to get that score. No way 24/7 stable though. I was very impressed with it and looking around, I seem to have won the chip lottery with the first card.
 
Cheers JD :) I used the 304.79 drivers for that suicide run and my card was on air ;) I am still waiting for my waterblocks to arrive but I also have been following the MSI 680 LTG thread and I will be pushing higher volts when the blocks are finaly here.

As for the GPU scores, I should have done those as priority rather than a sub section, as this is the Graphics card section of OcUK but all good. I hear that the new AMD drivers have vast improvements in 3DMark11, so I will be keeping a close eye on those dirty people :D
 
Meh!!! Just got an email from a guy where I ordered my AquaGFX LTG blocks from saying they expect stock to be available in 10-14 days. If this is the case, I am cancelling and will go for the EK blocks...I am 2 weeks off work now with nothing to do :(

Yep they do but I don't mind the EK and I can get them tomorrow. I am fed up of waiting and I will await the reply from where I have them ordered. I ordered and paid for them on the 1st and this will take over a month to get.

I am not a happy bunny :(

I just done a suicide run in SLI with Core voltage at +175 +198 on the core and 620 on the mem...completed and 3Dmark11 wont show my score arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Twice I bombed out at 5GHZ on the CPU test and again at 4.85GHZ. I need to do some tweaking and turn my pump up to full for the 5GHZ tests. Temps would be too high is my guess but Happy to take the GFX crown back :)

JD, I don't think I will be testing on a single card as it is a PITA taking the other card out (adds stability this way). My next push will be when the cards eventually get the water blocks. What was your Value on art money? I tried several from 190 (crazy temps) and my succesful run was 165 (still hit 85C on one of my cards.

Edit: I may cheat and buy a crappy 5400rpm drive and load 3Dmark11 onto that, as this will give the GPUs chance to cool down in between loading :D Having it on a SSD is doing me no favours lol
