8 pack... Do you really have an 8 pack?

Also, for all of you. What do you reckon is safe 24/7 voltage for an 3930k C2? I could do 5GHz 24/7 at 1.42-1.43v. But paranoia and fear of degradation keeps me from doing it :(. Also, what about IMC volts? VTT and VCSSA or whatever its called. Inform me please.

My sig says i run 5GHz but i dont, i was thrilled i could do 5GHz at such low voltages so i changed it assuming i would run it at that, but then someone told me about these chips degrading, safe voltages etc etc. So its really at 4.7 1.29v. I saw your prebuilt systems that have oced 3930ks to minimum 4.9GHz. Do you account for degrading too? Or am i just too paranoid about it?

My chips will run a lot higher though. Most of em bench 5.6ghz. I stick at 1.4 or below 24/7, VTT and VCCSA below 1.2.

You should just bench at 5g and run 24/7 at 4.7- 4.8 as you have a decent chip.

LOL, this is the problem, the 2nd and 3rd GPU are just about touching each other so air cooling pretty much is a no no. Can't really be fussed going down the WC route so will probably sack the 3rd one off soon.

This is the problem ill face when/if i ever go tri fire. Actually its worse than that. I'd have to remove my psu to fit a third card in and leave it outside the case. :D :(

At stock the 3 GPU's got a much better score than 2 but I guess having 2 you can OC them so much, look at the results table.

We will see, not sure what an acceptable temp the middle GPU can get to before it gets worrying :p

All scores have now been added to the 1st post and a massive thanks to Kaapstad for keeping the thread updated whilst I was away.

I am now looking forward to adding the scores for the R9 290X and seeing what is achievable with this beast. Who will be first to enter?
