Win 7 for Heaven and Valley, Win 8 for 3DMarks from what I have been told (on many occasions).

Depends on how much of an advantage Windows 8 as over Windows 7. Can't be that much. I think i'll stick with Windows 7 for now.

win8 Firestrike - Graphics 5-7% Physics 8-10% gains - set up dependant

Heaven and Valley also score better using win8

3D mark and Vantage win7 scores better


If your using X79 you can also increase your graphics score using the 125 strap (around 129) nets me the better results.

Depending on your mobo adjusting the blck skews also nets some nice gains.
