It's only my cpu that keeps me ahead of the 290x......great Graphics score "jomama22"........I bet your card has more in the tank methinks

I'm a bit (only a bit) disappointed that you can't reproduce the same scores on your other 290Xs. That would make me pull the trigger even quicker........or can you?

On my 4 290Xs the performance is practically identical, maybe they are all from the same batch of chips.

A dying Titan

Managed this last shot, thought I'd lost it when my Titan died..........My Titan is now a definite Ex-Titan. Wont run even at default......If anybody is bothered I think I killed it with 1.45 volts and 291% PL.

Anyhoo..........

I have chucked 1.45V into mine on a EK-FC block and it just throttled the card badly but didn't crash. Good to know and sorry to hear.

Don't forget the 290Xs only do really well in 3dmark11 and Firestrike on the performance presets. On Valley they don't do so well and Heaven 4 slaughters them.

Got two EVGA Classified 780ti's on order, they might even be able to catch the 290Xs on this bench.

Sounds about right in truth. I didn't dare touch that 300% BIOS for fear of doing the same. The TDP of 600w+ being available is quite a worrying notion.

With the watts some of the top cards are using I think PSU manufacturers need to start producing bigger units. I tried running 3 290Xs on a corsair 1200i and the PSU was not up to the job.

It is a good job I have got two 1200i's to go in a 900D for 2400watts.
