Did you get those clocks from the stock cooler?

I cant get past 1070MHz without atrifacts in heaven (extreme) and I would really like to acheieve this

On stock cooler on a sapphire 290. I am thinking of now pushing the memory, my latest runs I have been doing at 1080, because that seems to be my artifact limit at the moment. I only get them on Ice Storm, and then one or two frames on firestrike, haven't tried heaven, only tried valley, and that was void of any artifacting. If anyone can answer me this: What causes artifacting?

Is it an insufficient psu? Is it too much power to the card?(+30% i had at 1100, but seems to be worse at +50% 1100.) Is it just a too high clock speed? Thanks.

PNY? they still around, still making GPU's? wow. :)

I think i had an Nvidia 6000 Series from PNY many many moons ago, i have not seen any around in years.

No I hadn't seen them for a while but got the pair of the for £665 new inc delivery so can't really complain.

The heatsink seems very good but I am hearing some coil wine will try running them in for a few days and if it doesn't go I might DSR them.

lol. Lucky for him i do have it, i just didnt want the install on the test bench, but ill throw it on.

Funny enough, this was the very first card I test out of 6 on air and water. none of the other 5 come close to this. I have 3 more on the way but by the looks of it, this may be a 10%-20% if not less.
