I just cant get 10k,
2500k @ 5GHz
8Gb 1867Hz RAM
780 @ 1090/1633

Looks like I'm going to need a new BIOS before OCing the card any more, it's under water now though so max temps are around 35*C atm. I'd expect too have a fair bit of headroom with a few more volts

All under water.

Makes me the 3rd fastest on a 2500k

Gonna have to look into (aka learn) about overvolting as well, i can bench heaven at 1215/3305 fine but fs fails on the last test. Temps not too bad an issue as it maxed at 70c which did cause it to throttle a bit.

This is true. gotta grow a pair and follow Gregsters guide by the looks of it... Didn't really want to be BIOS flashing though :/

Same, never flashed a gpu bios myself tbh. Thought about it on my 670's to see if i could get my weaker card to run a bit closer to the good clocker i had. But with clocks that high temps were gonna be a big problem as they were non ref gigabytes.

I gave it a miss as tbh i just ran the cards at stock for games. My better card would bench fine at +130/+760. The other was limited to +80/+600. Briefly gamed with them at the latter clockspeeds before reverting to stock then selling them to fund the 780. Bit of a crazy 'upgrade' tbh but i fancied a new toy.

I'm maxed out on stock v at +84 on the core +175 on the mem, would it more more beneficial to drop one to raise the other or do these not work like that?

It will be what it is and countering one for the other doesn't work.

The higher you can get them on both, the better score you will get.

Max i can get is 1215 core, 3305 memory. This is +120/+300, stock volts and a 1-1 fan profile. Stock boost on the card is 1097mhz.

Feeding it more voltage is the only way you're going to realise it's full potential.

Agreed but I don't want to feel guilty if someone goes higher and it does go BANG! If it was me, I wouldn't care but someone else's card and guilt would get me to self harm
