I am not a great fan of HWBot as they use benches that are years out of date or underpowered which favours the LN2 guys.

Their version of Heaven is a total joke and it is impossible for anyone with modern hardware to get a decent score.

You could reply to Mr Scott and ask him to come and post some scores on these forums where he will get some real competition on up to date hardware and benches.:D:)

he's likely to hide Kaap or demote himself to the "NOOB" league!! and knowing what the BOT are like if i start goading him i'm likely to get an infraction or something, i wouldn't normally be bothered but i enjoy it and i have to think of the team ;)

With how cheap SSDs are now is it possible to install Win8 and benches on a 120gb drive and just plug it in instead of the Win 7 one.

I have not tried it so I don't know if there would be any problems though.

yep, thats what i do, i have 2x win7 and 1x win8, but as i use win8 day to day i'm going to get rid of one of the win7's and put win8 on purely for benching.
I did at one point leave em all plugged in and just select OS at bios but it kept running "check disk" so i just unplug and switch to what i need.

I think when I build the next one in 2015 I will do something similar with disks just for benching.
 
Lol you'd think he would have read the rules himself before commenting. There are some awful extreme scores on there, like really. LN2 runs on your chip Nick at same clocks and 1.65v scoring less physics than us both.

It's definitely not a case of being a pro on the basis you know where to buy LN2. The top ten guys in extreme league defo deserve to be there

Those overload a decent 20%, so that 1600w is on the limit, hard to say as efficiency goes down the more its overloaded, then you're down to how long you overloaded you take it lol ;)

I have the 1000W superflower Platinum for sale in the MM if you want it Tone. You bought my last PSU too. :D

It reached 1300W without issue too. Good PSU's the Superflowers.

I've seen your FS thread, you listed it as silent. I don't trust your definition of silent ;) Your 290s have done something to your hearing :p

The fan only turns on once you go past 650W Tone. :cool:
