Can boot and do stuff at 4.8 @ 1.4v but it's a little unstable and HOT!. Anyone using this chip on an AIO cooler needs shooting.

Yep, been tightening them down at 3000. Not as much headroom as ddr3 dom plats though as far as I can tell so far
If you can get about 25k for Physics that would put you on par with the best 6 core IB-E systems, hopefully you can get a lot more.
That overclock on the 5960X was very impressive though and hopefully it is a good sign for the platform.
I think i'll go with the 5930K in a couple of weeks. I only run 2 cards and i reckon i'd still be competitive. I just recently bought a 4930K and Rampage IV BE so i want to get some use out of that first. She's going to kill me if i don't stop buying crap i don't use!
