**Official 3DMark 'Fire Strike' Leaderboard**

Ok, I have been through all the scores with a fine toothed comb. As you will see, a few scores have moved from the single card scores to the dual GPU scores. It appears that VirtuMVP was used (which is allowed), and therefore I moved them to the correct section.

Thanks Dockie for finding my errors (sorted now). :)

So much updating being done, I do make the odd error or 10 :D

Any problems, ask away :)

Ohhhh and this score is a perfect example of a single card score:

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/67479

And this score is an example of when VirtuMVP is used:

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/74904

Thanks again for taking the time to enter :)

Edit:

Sorry for the confusion and it is my error that MVP wasn't picked up. I should pay more attention and will do from now on :)

hey hey One sec, That score was WITHOUT MVP i think you will find.

Look at the bottom of it it says FALSE, when i enable it it says TRUE
http://www.3dmark.com/fs/74904

My CPU score is more because i have a 3770k...

EDIT: Then again i dont seem to be able to replicate it... Wtf
Must have been a fluke Run, as i just trued it with and without MVP and my scores were much lower than the one in the link above :(
Fail for me

Why doesn't 8pack have his own separate leader board in the op as no one is going to be able to compete with him.

+1

Cmon greg, take the muzzle off and let him play, always good to see what 8pack can do.

Well done on sorting out the virtu, maybe the moaners will stop moaning and maybe roll their sleeves up and finding out how to increase their own scores instead of greetin about others that put more effort in.

@8pack,

Since your on the books@OcUK, shouldn't you be doing an all expenses paid trip to OcUK for 3 lucky forum winners ***cough-tommybhoy*** who get to watch/join in on an oc'ing session?***cough-tommybhoy***:D:D:D

I scrub***cough-tommybhoy*** up well(big greg pales in comparison) so I'd bring a bit of looks for the PR shots too...

...Only problem is my gut is looking***cough-tommybhoy*** more like a keg of lager these days but you could keep the publicity shots chest high.;)

:D

@Greg, fantastic work mate.:)

Apparently in the latest drivers 13.2 beta 5 its working on Windows 8!!! Nice one AMD!!!

Nope, Trifire is very broken, I have Windows 8 and it doesn't work, well it does but the gpu usage averages about 20%

I have tried just about every crossfire algorithm available and none seem to work.

Also beta 5 has broken black ops with corrupted guns.

Efficiency is important results take hours of testing. Great silicon is no good if you dont know how to use it. Its knowing how to get the best from the silicon that is difficult. Users have commented on my Cas8 at over 2500mhz on X79, dimms no matter how good dont just do 2500 stable C8 on this platform each setting is important to gain stability.

Its cool though I will still enter my scores but Greg has said I am banned from the leaderboard which is fine with me anyone wants to see where my scores stand on the global level they can easily see my HWbot profile which has me placed at number 10 in the Pro Overclocking League.

I don't deny your skill, but lets be honest, crazy silicone helps loads ;)

It does but that silicon has cost me thousands literally plus hundreds of hours testing too. Every CPU I test cold takes about an hour to insulate it alone!!!

@ Tommy an official announcement will be made on an Overclocking event where I will be doing LN2 and other sub zero clocking. This event will be open to some forum members for sure and I will update when I know more about it.

I'm going to try and get myself up a few places on the leaderboard...since the i7 920/930's etc are performing well in the Physics test if I can get mines up to 4Ghz tonight that should be good for another couple of hunderd points...new PSU coming so won't be restricted with my 500w for overclocking the CPU/GPU (As that may have been a bit of a bottleneck looking at the 7970's power consumption) so we'll see later on tonight.

Good job ladies.

Nice score Proto, i knew this day would come. I will hold off your attempts for as long as possible. H80i arrives today and i hope to be able to improve my main score and physics score a bit.

I will be on a little later tonight and will try to do a few more runs. Having your new CPU cooling set up by then should make it a little more interesting; assuming I can get a better score. ;)

When I look at your scores, it clearly shows MVP is being used. Not a problem though and this is allowed :)

@ Tommy, 8Pack knows he can enter anything he likes and I will add his score. I knows he gets the golden chips and fair play to him. He has the skill to use them properly and the tools (which costs a fortune) to go with it.

Add what ever card/cards you like 8Pack and good luck in the world rankings.

Stu@MSD, I missed your 2 card score but rectified now :) (good score btw) :)

Hi Gregster...
Thank you. My two runs were single and double 7970's though, not triples.
This bench doesnt work with trifire yet. :)

When clicking on that link: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/74904
MVP is showing False within the settings.
Unless your looking at other scores under that user id then yea some are showing True when i tested it... But that one is Deffo false

Indeed.

Virtu MVP HyperFormance Active: false
Virtu MVP Virtual Vsync Active: false

Hence why the Secondary GPU shown as the MVP is 0MHz.
