I am not sure it is the drivers Kaap. Both Nvidia and AMD give bad results with 3 cards or more. I expect an update from Futuremark that sorts it. I could be wrong though (wouldn't be the first time) :D

Its even worse with my 5970s I tried to load drivers 13.2 so I could run this bench and the other new benches, the problem was loading the drivers trashed my windows setup - full re install required.

Back to your point above I think you are right that an update is needed from Futuremark to get 3 or more GPUs to run right.
 
I haven't got mine past 1200MHz stable on the core yet - temps are good though with the full cover water block, I think I can't pump enough voltage into it - even 1.3v set in Afterburner drops down to ~1.18v under full load.
