Sounds like you need that chiller set up :D :D
I'm going to get mine setup tomorrow, got a place for it eventually but need to buy a new freezer to replace the chest to make room for where i actually want to put it. Then it's down to how much a D5 can push....It's going to be about 20m worth of tubing, 15m give or take of copper.

I will probably wait until it is a bit cooler before I use the chiller, so I can get the temps as low as possible without worrying about condensation.

Can you post how you get on with your chiller as I am very new to this.

Good luck with the chiller.:)

Chiller is all setup :D
One thing i will say, easy to setup :)

The bloke i bought it from (Cammy) he made a box that turns the chiller on when the PC turns on. Defo get yourself one of those.

19/27mm tubing to connect the inlet outlets, jubilee clip to tie tubing to copper piping, 19/13mm to connect to your fittings (use a multi adapter to change if you use smaller tubing)
The chiller is silent once reached your set temperature and very noisy when the compressor is on (can't wait to get my new freezer to move this thing far away from me :D)

Looking good, have you had a chance to do any before and after benches.

What sort of temps are you running the chiller at. Do you need to insulate anything.

Thanks

Not done any benching since getting it setup, got work early in the morning.
Running it @20c atm, i was running it at 12c but the ambient in my room is about 24c so was getting slight condensation on the fittings.

No insulation needed, it's just like a normal WC loop you wouldn't know it it's chilled water unless you touch the pipes or follow the pipes to find the chiller, just got to adjust your temps according to your ambient (getting my aircon unit out next week, soon sort that out :D)

It only uses 350w when the compressor is on, damn sight less than my aircon unit ::p

Did your chiller come with a strange 2 pin plug on it, mine did. Is it just a case of getting an adaptor.

I also have a little bit of water in mine (probably where they tested it) which I trying to work out how to get it out.

My secret weapon (not so now).

It won't be much good for cooling everything but it should do a good job on the CPU and two cards running.:D

Here is a nice find I found when I ordered it, you can buy these black inserts that replace the normal connectors so you can fit a compression fitting to the top of the inlet/outlets without all the extra pipework.
