**Official 3DMark 'Fire Strike' Leaderboard**

Here is my new score. I'm still running pretty much the same rig, just I outed my Xeon and upgraded to a 8320 with a 990FX board.

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/959497?

Huge difference over my Xeon.

8560. GFX Score 11882. 670. Air cooled. Physics Score 5669. CPU Xeon E31220 @ 3.1 Air cooled - ALXAndy

Was my Xeon score. Put in the 8320 and clocked it to 4.2ghz (H100 btw) and...

9189. GFX score 13482. 670. Air cooled. Physics score 8204. CPU AMD FX 8320 @4.2ghz on H100.

I have put this in as a new entry as you are using a different CPU, so both of your scores are in the table.:)

Decided to do some runs with my 2nd gpu and see how far I can get it to go - decent clocker on the memory this 1 is (crossfire results will coming soon lol)

anyways the result - http://www.3dmark.com/fs/682788

7950 @ 1175/1750

2700k @ 4.8 Ghz

Score of - 7444
Graphics score - 8229
Physics score - 12272
Combined score - 3230

Nice increase that's moved you up the table.

Looking forward to the xfire scores.:)

Aye bumped me up a little lol - looking forward myself to getting a dual GPU setup on the go, get to add more eye candy to my games (I'm lookng at you sleeping dogs >.>) - got the 2 gpus here just waiting on getting a decent PSU, will be able to finally buy it this week

Yes you quite easily beat my 3DMark 11 score as well, what do you reckon is causing that?

Chris

With the Performance preset on 3dmark11 you need to get the CPU as high as possible to drive the cards, going from 4.5 to 4.9 added about 100 points to the graphics score for me. Also the faster the CPU speed the better the Physics score.

Another overclocking tweak is to use the 125 strap and raise the bclk (I was using 129 bclk) this overclocks the PCI-E slot as well.

The GPU clocks I was using were 1180/1800

Use windows basic on your desktop and reduce screen resolution a bit (I used 1680x1050).

What would be interesting is what you score on the Extreme preset of 3dmark11, going by your other results you should do better on that.

Thank you for the information I shall have a play later when its a bit cooler :), this is my first time with X79 so have stuck with the basic 100 x 48 for 4.8Ghz and left everything else on auto.

Will report back later on OC success or failure lol

Keep an eye on your memory speeds when you start adjusting the bclk as this gets overclocked too.:D

Yes I found that one out thank you lol

Just had a quick play with 125 Strap 120 Bclk and 40 multi for 4.8Ghz also changed the Windows settings as well and got the following score.

Nvidia GTX 690

Power = +135%
Core = +130
Mem = +500

Nvidia Beta 320.49

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/685106

12541 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690(2x) and Intel Core i7-3930K Processor
Graphics Score 15526
Physics Score 16840
Combined Score 4440

Funnily enough the gfx score was higher and the Physics score was lower but gave a higher overal score :confused:

Thank you very much for your help though :D

I've tested using both bclk at 100 and the above settings at 125 strap and 129 bclk matched clocks, and saw no difference in graphics score between the two at all. So dunno!

It does seem to make a difference :D

Thanks again Kaapstad
