**Official 3DMark 'Fire Strike' Leaderboard**

Ok I'll play. First run:

Score: 9152
Graphics score: 11734
Physics score: 8325
Combined score: 3660

That's with 2x 670's at stock and an I7 2600k at 4.6. All air cooled.

Looks like I make the dual gpu table! (for now)

*Edit* - why is my physics score so low? Seen others with same cpu at similar speeds getting 12,000. Or is it GPU physics?

It's CPU physics.
RAM speed and timings can make a big difference to the physics score.

What RAM are you running?

I cant seem to complete the full benchmark as it keeps crashing at the Fire part at the end.

It throws an unknown error occurred window at the end.

The 2600k doesn't have the the improved memory controller the Ivy Bridge chips have, could that be whats making the difference?

Just found out, I had hyperthreading disabled ;) as I've been experimenting in games with it off as it seems to be better for some! Just re-ran the test with HT back on and got

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/32635

Score: 9049
Gfx: 11237
Physics: 11717
Combined: 3230

So, the physics score seems to be back in line with what it should be. But, my graphics and all other scores are actually a bit lower with hyperthreading on. More evidence for keeping it off for most games???

GPU: 1200 / 1500 | CPU: 4.1Ghz (Air Cooled - CM Hyper 412S)

Score 5605 with AMD Radeon HD 7870(1x) and AMD Phenom II X6 1090T

Graphics Score 6258
Physics Score 8731
Combined Score 2417

gregster, you put me down for 4.2Ghz on the CPU last time, it was 4Ghz, this time its 4.1. You also have AceOwner on there twice, #9 and #16
I can't boot into 4.2 anymore, i think the CPU is starting to show its age now :( more than 2 years i have been pushing it at 4Ghz+ on air. Its a shame, i think i could have broke through the 9000 mark.

Thanks :)

I'm eagerly awaiting gregs entry. I imagine he's going to be at the top or very close to it.

Unlickley, this seems very much on AMD's side, It looks like 7970's are hammering GTX 680's

And they finally sorted the lack luster use of AMD CPU's out, i wonder if AMD got their fingers in this pie now aswell, its not going to take long and that top 25 list will be a sea of red.

Do you have to buy it not to run the other 2 tests etc?

The free version makes you run them all one after the other with a demo in between each one. If you buy it you can skip the demos between each and choose to do a single test.
